Vehicle Accidents on the Clock

Just as with all work injuries, anyone injured in a vehicle crash during work is eligible for any workers’ compensation benefits. It is not even a requirement  for the accident to happen on work property. Regardless of where the accident took place, you qualify for coverage if you are driving during your work shift when the accident happens.

In fact, you also do not even need to be a full-time driver at your job to receive those  workers’ compensation benefits. Even if you only drive occasionally for work and are injured in a vehicle accident, then that should not affect your coverage under your employer’s insurance. Any passengers in your vehicle during the crash are covered too.
