Things to consider when selecting a new countertop

Having granite, quartz, or marble countertops is a dream for many homeowners.
For most people however, the dream ends at which type of stone would look best in their home. In reality though, there are a couple more details to consider when you’re upgrading your countertops.

Here are a few things you’ll want to think about before you enhance your kitchen with a new stone countertop.

Cabinets: If your cabinets are showing the signs of age, wear, and tear, then you’ll probably want to plan to upgrade them as well.

Sinks: Sinks tend to be treated fairly roughly, and used daily, so most of the time you’ll want to replace them when you get a new countertop.

Backsplash: The backsplash occupies a very noticeable place in your kitchen. In fact, they may be the first thing a guest notices from afar.

Edges: The wrong edge takes away from the elegance of the look. The right edge, however, adds characters and ties your entire look together.

It’s easy to see how a countertop upgrade can become a bit overwhelming. Don’t worry though, we have tools that make it easy to visualize and make it easy and fun to upgrade to your dream kitchen!
